should i retake chi .i got B4 and dist for oral.i got A2 for mid year.i am afraid that i have already forgetten about my chi works liao.

Yup! You should retake.
If you can get B4, I believe if you put in a little more effort you can get your A1.

retake la. second time sure better one. i retook, and i didnt study for it. improve from c5 to b4

As you can see quite a lot of students scoring A1 and this could be due to many reasons. let say if the paper is too easy, so moderation is a way to filter off the better students with the weaker ones.
This is what the happened after moderation. In order to obtain A1, you need to score at 84% of the marks.
Similarly.. If the paper is too hard and very few people scored A1, the authorities may lower the boundaries so that a reasonable amount of student still can get A1.

Higher CL student standard is as good as those who took CL in the Mid Year.
One advantage is, there will be less student taking the Year End Chinese Paper as compared to Mid Year Chinese Paper.
