relax and be calm, first greet ur invigilator politely, let him/her know that u have manners.. give sincere smile.. not fake smiles.
describe the pic in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction... or u can describe from left to right, or right to left whatever ways u feel comfortable with..
use PRESENT tense, not past tense, use some words like on the top right hand corner, top left hand corner .. in the middle of the pic...
then use very chip words like... however, and DESCRIBE ur feelings towards the situation in the pic.. and what u feel .. whether is right or wrong.. then further..describe opther things.. no need to use very chim english vocab.. jus speak proper english and describe.. u should be alright .

Today's one is relatively easy.
Theme:Technology
Passage i felt that i was too nervous and messed up a bit
Picture:Classroom with P1-P2 kids learning the abacus.
I was quite alright with it, cept that i pronounced abacus as 'a-buh-cus' instead of 'a-bear-cus', thx to my nervous state again
Conversation..the best
1st Qn: Describe what technology u hav come into contact with or sth...
I said the most obvious:Internet
Then sub-divide into:
Forums
-Current affairs..online etiquette...General knowledge..eschange of opinions..
MSN - Communication with overseas friends and project work
Wikipedia/Google - Info at everybody's fingertips
Then i say Handphone is another piece of technology none of us can do without.SMS..3G internet..
Qn 2: Do u think we are over-reliant on technology?
Crapped about how our defence system was built using technology and if terrorists wana attack us, they can just shut down our power, cutting off our technology.Then i say must have contingency plan.Gave 1 eg.My project work 2 years ago..laptop failed on me..lucky have plan B...bla bla
Last Qn: Do u think teachers can be replaced by computers?
Duh no..Talk about motivation..TLC..what a computer cannot do...
Overall thought that had i been given more time, i would have come out with better points.But still felt that i had done decent, thx to the relatively easy topic, and well..everybody dosent have the luxury of thinking out the points using his own sweet time right?

the first week topics are far easier. food... toys etc.
the second week one was obviously more challenging. space exploration... science and stuff. more interesting, but many may not have the thematic vocab for it.
all repeated topics tho. -
