Try to use more adjectives because you are describing. Adjectives add colour to your sentences.
Don't mumble
Look right into the examinor's eyes
Greet them when you go in and say thank you when you go out

got 1 is picture
must describe, its not easy to describe lah, normally the picture is very plain de.
then got 1 is conversation
conversation is they give u 1 topic then ask for ur opinions. -

Remember this.
Background - Say where is the setting, where is this located at.
Characters - Talk about the characters, mayb you want to infer a little, how do they feel, why are they doing this and that, blah blah. You can start off with things like.
- From his/her facial expression i infer that blah blah
- From his/her actions i feel that blah blah
- I feel that he is doing this as blah blah
Before and After - Why happened before this, and what happen after this.
Ah ya, just try to elaborate as much as you can.
Talk a little cock and no link also can, just have to say something.
As long as its a little logical can liao.
For the conversation.
This one is really heng suay, if the topic is you dont know one then GG.
My N level topic was "Do you think computer gaming is a waste of time and money"
To me super easy la. Finally i can put my RTS,MMORPG,FPS knowledge to use

For passage, if you are fluent in your reading. Can get 10~13 that range one.
Just rmb to stop at punctuations, be fluent and dont make too much pronunciation errors.
Picture ah, IMO this is the hardest part.
You have 10mins reading time i think.
During the 10mins, mayb you spend 3mins on passage and 7minute on picture bah.
The 7min is super crucial. You must plan really well on what you want to say.
If you want to score A hor, its reccomended that you do not stop during your picture. Keep saying, its possible one!
For the convo. I say liao, depends on the topic.
If they ask you things that you totally have no knowledge on then lan lan lor.
But one trick i can tell you is.
When they tell you the convo topic. And you happen to have not much knowledge for that certain topic.
You may want to stop and think for like 5~10seconds before speaking lor.
Dont speak for 30seconds then stop. Then continue again.

For me, the passage and the conversation part are the most easiest one.
I am used to crapping in sgForums, so I have been constantly exposed to most of the everyday issues. I guess I can easily voice out my opinion on certain issues.
To me the tougest part is the picture. I am quite poor at discribing, so I guess I need to boost my vocab bank. -
