Hais !!! Sad news !!!
My DPA Application has been rejected !
Those people who are select are so darn lucky . They can leng leng get 26 points and is guaranteed a place in the poly , provided they meet the criteria as well .
For us , have to get single pointers so that getting a place in poly will have a higher chances.
My Adam Khoo workshop trainer says i have to study at least 9hrs everyday so that can pass o lvl with good marks. Thats alot ! But dhen , left abt 60 days , minus away weekends and holis & prelims , will be left abt 40 days . So hopefully i can get over this period quickly. -

But dhen , really sad that the appli had been rejected . Anyway ! I realized that the results mentions that "Unfortunately ,you did not get a place in ONE of the polys" I applied for 2 polys , SP and NP. So far , i received a letter from NP only , stating that im not offered a place. So that ONE poly could be NP . So , SP results maybe havent release yet . So hopefully still got chance!

as long as you got acceptable results and you have some sort of position like President/vice-president of your CCA/student council/student leader etc etc

i know 1 person applied and got it...got into my course...guess wad she did?
1. DL our course timetable and told the interviewers about it
2. tell them wad will we be doing instead of the other way round
3. showed them her all her art work
4. tell them about our course(which includes the mostly guys few girls, our batch entire course only 1 girl )
5. add a few of my classmates in MSN(she knows 1 of them, and that 1 person gave her a few of other ppls addresses) and talks to them about the course. -
But this , i dont feel its related to the talents and aptitude the student shows towards that particular course. I feel that the DPA , the priority should be given to those who have shown aptitude towards the course he wanted to take and the abilities he had shown and the student's leadership position should be made secondary. -

and the problem is that, we can only display such talent(cca/leadership) to them.
for e.g, you want to join aerospace engineering.
you know NUTS abt it but you have interest in it, but poly dun care...and they oso don't know whether you are good in it because there isn't such subject in school unless its your CCA.
very few CCA will offer aerospace etc. thats why. i believe if ur sch offers aersospace and you won some competitions/participated, you will get picked up easily.
so the only way they can recruit people is by results, CCA achievements etc.
thats why CCA achievements is v. important.
somemore 1 of my friends was only in CHIOR and she was joining biotechnology? completely different thing. -
