bio or phy? pick one..

  which is better and easier? bio or phy?
  some of my frends said bio is easy and some said phy..
  im kinda confused.. i dunno which to choose..
  and i heard phy is kinda related to math..
  my math wasnt very good.. i always got jus pass for it every year..

  When you study O level, you will chose from these.
  
  - Science(Chemistry,Biology)
  
  -Science (Chemistry,Physics)
  
  -Science (Biology, Physics)
  
  -Pure Chemistry
  
  -Pure Biology
  
  -Pure Physics.
  
  If you love tonnes of calculation, then Physics is for you.
  
  If you want to know how our body works, Biology is for you.
  
  In my humble opinion, Chemistry is a must!
  
  Since you're kinda weak in your maths, maybe you should chose Biology.
  
  My suggestion is Science(Chemistry, Biology). You get to learn chemistry and biology.

  Yup! You'll have to memorize about 30 looong essays. If you understand the topics well, 30 is a piece of cake.

  i didnt memorize any essays for bio. just gotta understand the key points. the essay questions are pretty tricky. You got to know how to apply what you learn so its not about memorizing.

  Ya. Pure Sciences are for Express students. NA Students who are done well consistently in Science can also request to the Principal to take Pure Science.

  did u also mention memorising them?
  
  bio like any other subjects is more of understanding and then applying them. education is going towards application base questions. you can't be memorising every combination of qn coming out.

  Yes. I agree with you that Biology is more of understand and then applying them.
  
  Yes, during my O level preparation, I've memorized all the possible combination of question which will come out for Biology essay.

  Bio is quite ok, as long as you keep attempting the 10years series or some workbook, you will remember your answers well as you have been constantly doing it. Same goes for physics. It is more like on formula and knowledge. For me I will chose Physics over bio

  i used to memorise like you do. too tedious when go up higher level.

  yeah.. which one interests you more?
  
  for me, at that time, physics was so much more interesting to me so i took it...
  
  i didn't like biology so i didn't opt for it..
  
  did math, A-math, physics, chemistry and literature...
  
  at that time, only needed 5 subjects for qualifications for JC or Poly...

  I was very good in biology and just good at physical science, oh very good in double maths too.
  
  But somehow, I chicken out on pure science in JC because of Chemistry and Physics. I opted for Engineering Science, which was a big mistake. My Physics continued to become bad to worse, although after every thing was long over, I pondered on my notes and wonder why It seemed so difficult to me then.
  
  Choose a course that you have most strength and interest in. Look at the subject combinations too. Don't make the same mistake as I did.
