Heck, as orionlight and ghast have also pointed out, spotting questions can be highly counterproductive and can backfire spectacularly on you.
I've personally had people chide me for not spotting questions... but hey, they are the ones who usually end up doing worse.

Hell, in a test that I took just a few weeks ago, quite a few people tried to guess what the lecturer would set - and the lecturer pulled off a stone cold stunner on us. You really should have heard the whinings and curses after the end of the paper.
