its a nice idea. However, among my so many friends, only a small minority( perhaps only 2 or 3) listen to Jrock or Jpop...its a difficult task
We can organise an outing if there's sufficient people...however, it doesn't seem to be the case

Actually , there are a number of Singaporeans who are into Jpop or Jrock in other forums , if I can just get them to join the yahoo group and also to increase the popularity of Japanese pop and rock music , the group may expand bigger and faster as you thought.Originally posted by monkeybusiness:yup

Haha, not really a pilot but commercial airliners is another hobby of mine. Airbus has changed their CEO and they had been winning a fair few of orders, most importantly Qantas and SQ actually signed up a few more A380s ! SQ has shocked the aviation industry by signing a LOL ( Letter of Intent ) on purchasing 20 + 20 A350-900s ! -

there is a very wide selection of jap/korean music,
korean music is usually pop, but jap, u have j-pop, j-rock, j-hip hop. the selections very wide...
on second hought, if the forum can have the oricon charts every week, it would be pretty good...

Once upon a time , I was into US/UK music but when I started listening to J-pop for the first time, it took me 2-3 weeks to completely convert. Actually it all depends on one's passion. -

i still remember watching a Japanese variety show called "Gakkou e ikou", hosted by V6. Funny show where they will play some sort of games and visit schools in Japan
Heard their songs played in the show and i got addicted. Ever since then, my life changed -
