After weights, feel a bit sore. But that sore feeling last 10mins or so, quite shiok.
Then the shi.tty feeling sets in.
It's like very nua. No strength. Feel fat..
It's different from running. After a run, body feels tight for a few hours.
Why huh?

so called "the pump" this happens usually when you do high reps, all the blood rushes to that area.

Then should try low reps?
Will low reps be less effective with the same amount of weights?
Simon Dean
dont go for low reps at a light weight unless you are pyramiding it up to a very heavy weight.Because whats the point when there is no kick at all??
I only do light weight low reps(4-6) when i am pyramiding it up to like 95%RM so as to conserve energy.

The pump is overrated,it does not contribute to growth,it just makes you feel shiok enough for a short while.
Strength trainers like me will always do low reps(5-6) during my strength cycle. If you want muscle growth, you should start training for strength first...

i am not advocating the pump, just telling him in bodybuilding context what it is about.I dont really go for "pump" either.More of feeling my muscle contract etc etc
