1)Do they use people with pre-exsisting knee conditions then they proceeded to squat.
2)Do the researchers even know the PROPER form for the squatting themselves?
3)Are they sure that the people where they gathered their results from didnt overtrain?
I think 2) is the most important.Many people think that squatting is squatting and requires no basic technique.
