After quit ite can't join back anymore?

  Hi I have a question I heard that if I quit ite now I will not be able to join it again afterward is that true? Because I am taking private O level hoping to get into poly but  worst come to worst If I did not make it and had to go ite again will I be able to join back to the same course or a different course?
