Hello people! What topics/themes are you guys studying for SS? Am planning to study by chapters, not themes.. any views on this?
Personally, I doubt those topics that came out last year will come out again so I'm leaving those off my study list :)
I'm going to study Chapter 2,4,5,6 with 3 if i had time >.< I'm only gonna start memorising after my physics paper :P
Very high percent that d&d is coming out, along with government! Think I'm gonna focus a lot on gov cause d&d is so boooorish.
You have to make sure you studied 3 themes in all if you want to secure a pass or even a distinction. Leaving chapters out for humanities is the equivalent of taking chances. Why take chances for a national exam ? Unless u know ure gonna screw the other part of ur combined humans and youre non-reliant on combined humanities to bring u to where u want to go.
I am doing themes Governance, Venice(highly doubts it comes out again) and DD + Iraq Kuwait.
if u have no time (like me), do one of these 3 - governance, d&d or conflict.
im doing governance coz its the most straightforward
and yes, that is only half a theme. im so proud of myself
p.s i aint using that as L1B4.
I plan to study only Governance, Conflicts and Bonding Singapore . These three chapters alone is already too much to study already , let alone three themes :( . Anyways, I'm pinning all my hopes on Governance as well !
Yes, I know that it is *safest* to study at least 3 themes. But the thing is we don't have enough time. Most of us will probably be banking on either d&d or governance, but d&d is such a $%^& chapter so gov ftw! :)
I am studying all the chapters except for Venice and Globalisation. I don't even know the themes lol
I doubt these 2 will come out since Venice came out last year and Globalisation has been tested for 2 years if i'm not wrong.
