What if English fail

  i am a student who have trouble in language. But my math (A and E) and Science(Bio and chem(pure)) did pretty well(B3 and above). Only English and Chinese failed. Will I be retained?

  pls retake English until u pass though u may qualify for poly....

  without English...u will have a hard time looking for a good job...

  I assume that you're at Sec 3E because you use the word 'retained' , If you do badly for your English, your principal may conditionally promote you to 4E assuming your other subjects are above average.

  NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT FAIL ENGLISH, Failing chinese will be fine in your case as you are doing pretty well for other subjects. English is considered L1 in your L1R4/R5 and not considered as one R is R4/R5. Hence failing english would get you no where unless you get A1 for all your other subjects, which would allow you to be conditionally accepted into a JC/poly/Mi
