Should I request to repeat J1?

  Hey, Im presently in JC1 arts stream doing a combi of H2: Lit, Econs, Maths H1: CSE However, i've realised i made a horrible error of chosing lit, and its too late to change. PW Groups out liao BUT Is it worth repeating and changing combi. I really cannot understand lit, and after really sitting down many many times, i still cannot understand prose and poetry which is an immense headache. I oso dunno whether sch will allow me to request retention... What should I do?? lit is like killing me for my H2

  Post in homework forums will be better, Can you understand if you repeat another year ? Or you may consider going polytechnic.

  Whether you will repeat or not actually depends quite a bit on your grades. If your grades are "not bad enough", even if you want to repeat, the school will not allow you to repeat.

  Worse come to worse, go over to poly. If you want to remain in JC, get your buddies as well as the lit teacher to help you out in lit. There is no way around this.
