Appeal Procedure

  Hey everyone,

  I thought that I'd start a new thread for this since this doesn't really qualify into the "O' Level" ranting/raging/aggro thread category.

  I was wondering if anyone who actually KNOWS what he/she is talking about (meaning only reply if you 100% know what you are posting is accurate and applicable) care to share how the exact appeal procedure is like?

  I only know that appeal starts after the JAE results are released and that you still have to report to your posted JC on the first day.

  Anything else to take note of?

  Does speaking to the teacher-in-charge of the CCA which you are appealing with at the JC you are going to appeal to WHILE the JAE is still in progress help in any way?

  Since we have to see the principal of the JC we are appealing to in person, do we bring along any credentials or CCA records or anything?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  From what I heard, they should ALL have the same appeal procedure.

  And now I heard the JAE results coming out 28th Jan 2010, but the appeal date is 27th Jan 2010, and the JAE booklet says you can only appeal AFTER the JAE results are out.

  So lolwut?

  I am no expert in appealing. but... I do feel tt you shld bring along ur credentials just incase. this will show tt you are more prepared and sincere when appealing. so u must take them out even if the JC dont require u to bring. I doubt u will meet the principal, thr will be too many appeals going on. probably a HOD will talk to you, so be prepared. regarding the confusion abt appl date and result date, i suggest u call MOE to clarify. regarding if talking to cca teacher helps, i am nt sure.

  They said everything is currently "very tentative", so I should wait another week or so for solid appeal instructions.

  wait another week lor. then go dwn to school personally to get appeal form. speak face to face btr than talk over the phone i guess.
