It was harder than i thought, but it was still manageable. I took a gamble and studied only Natural Veg and Plate Tectonics....
In the end, they mix Natural Veg with River & Coast.....
The 7m question nearly killed me, what's there to write about? I only can write about 3 things... Describe Groynes(DAMN IT! I SPELLED IT AS GYRONE), Seawall and breakwater(Don't even know if got breakwater anot, but i got label breakwater). Then i describe how it protects the coast.
And the stupid How is Beach formed question, i also nvr revised that one. I just anyhow pia say longshore drift help to form beach. Deposition etc etc. Cause got nothing to write already, then i say beaches are also formed because of human. Counties like Singapore buy sand and place it near the sea to form beaches. LOL!!! They also never say is Natural Beach, so i write about Man Made Beach also lor.
As for the plate tectonics, the 7m question also abit killer. I write one full page, but i don't think i explained all... Since not much time left, so i just skip to the last question.
So how was Pure Geog Paper 1 to you?
didnt take pure geog, but heard it was a killer :O
I thought Elective Geog was more of a killer. LOL.
Pure Geog quite tough but still manageable lar.
I think should be able to pass.
breakwater breaks the waves before they hit the coast ? Just thinking on my common sense and it will be very expensive to build them
i choose food and veg, dunno if there are any killer qns in development.
They give us two pictures say, "In 1967, there is no guarantee to the continuity of rent of land to the farmers. In 1987, there is 25 years of lease for them".
One picture shows the map of lands in 1967 owned by two farmers, all the lands are seperated and small.
The other shows 1987's map, showing that the property of land have joined together but they are still owned by the two farmers seperately.
Then the question asks:" How these changes help intensify food production." (7 marks!)
I only know the land tenure and defragmentation factors :/ So I crap my way through.
The LORMS qn of food is kinda special. Describe how non-staple foods have replaced staple foods in LDCs. How far has this benefited the local population.
I overlooked see "how far" =.= so i end up only writing the benefits of this.
