What do you guys think about having a study mall?? A mall not about shopping ... but helping us to focus and study?
As I have have problem finding places to study in Singapore. Do you all have the same problem as me? I really wish there is a proper study environment whereby we could just meet up with a few study mates to do revision...
What do you think? =)
By running study event for the school? Can have still set up retail shop but related to studies? like books, stationeries?
but if there is this kind of mall will you go?
Don't see why this is in homework but i feel that libraries are good enough. Not enough space just build more of them will do or expand the current 1s to have more reading/studying space.
if this kind of concept even falls through, maybe i'll go,if the study environment would be conducive enough.
Ic. Actually I'm a design student. I'm thinking of designing a "study mall" in Singapore.
To dkcx--- I was once being warn by the librarian not to do my homework in the library. She said the library table and chairs are for those who are browsing their books...

per hour rental of study table, a chair, study lamp, a fan + 6-bottles mini pack of Brands' Essence of Chicken = $50
Last year, there was also a similar post.
Someone wishes to open a study area business that is conducive in the HDB neighbourhood that is near to secondary and junior colleges.
Many forumers give suggestions on how to make the business profitable.
In the end, whether the business is open or not, no one knows.
The school principals know that the students need conducive places to do their revision for the coming exams and quite a number of secondary schools and junior colleges have already allowed their students to stay back to study and revise until 10 pm. In addition, a teacher will stay back to help and supervise the students in their revisions.
However, many students prefer to study in shopping malls, fast food areas. Whether these students really study or just mix around with friends, no one knows.
