huhh serious??
the only other reason i chose common engin besides my grades is so that i can better decide which engineering course i like better so i can switch in second year. omg, impossible to stream into others?!!

Actually JC grades dont really matter much in Uni lah. Depends on passion. more important than determination IMHO

impossible to stream into others?!! Not impossible but hard. Say for example in NUS, a PRC who scored 4.8 CAP for first year...very sick grade btw, could not stream into ISE. Common engineering really leads to mech eng or EEE. Unless you really come out with a miracle. CCA helps in appeal btw. hope you have been active.

I thought in common eng in NTU, you can stream into the 4 available courses that they have after 1st year(mech, EEE, civil, env)? But it also depends on the grades & modules you take too in your 1st year... -

Does that only apply to NUS or to NTU as well? My original dream was to go to common eng at NUS and eventually stream into ISE. But I guess it is impossible now after what crimson soldier told me the last time... -

Yeah. But I guess times have changed since your time. Anyway, thanks for your advice that time. It really gave me an insight into ISE. :) -
btw, ACC cannot get in Nus engine common or not. Even ABB dont have much chance.
