Yes you can but i think the current course offered to you will have to be given up. I'm abit unsure whether you can keep the course till you got the 1 you want or whether you need to drop the courve you have accepted to apply for a new 1.
This should not be a problem however if you apply to NTU/SMU since NUS should sent you a letter of confirmation next year to ask whether you are still interested in the course they offer before they sent you the enrolment package. You can reject NUS's offer then if you chose a course from NTU/SMU.
thanks for the reply. I'm planning to switch from ee to ise but still in nus. any idea how do i apply again next year? do i still use the same pin given to me this year?
Not too sure but once the applications open again next year you can try. Been many yrs ago since i registered for uni but i know reapplication is possible.
NUS
Some applicants may wish to apply for a change in course while serving full-time NS. As these applicants have yet to matriculate with NUS, they are not considered current NUS students seeking a transfer. Hence, they can apply for a change of course when the Admission exercise for AY2009-2010 open three working days after the release of 2008 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level results in March 2009.
Applicants are advised to indicate on their new application the course(s) for which they wish to be considered only. It is not necessary to fill up all choices available.
If an NSF succeeds in gaining admission to the new course, the course reserved for him previously will be automatically withdrawn, even if he ultimately decides not to accept the new course given to him. Hence, if he does not wish to accept the new offer, he must submit an appeal to transfer back to the course previously reserved. The success of his appeal will be at the discretion of the University. He is therefore advised to accept the new offer, while waiting for the outcome of his appeal to be re-admitted to the course previously reserved may be unsuccessful.
If he is unsuccessful in his new application, he will remain in the course previously reserved, provided he had accepted the reserved course.

Q: I have been offered admission to NTU in AY2009-10 and I wish to change to another programme of study, what are the procedures that I need to undertake?

A: In order to opt for the new programme, you will need to apply in the usual manner for admission when the admission exercise commences. Please note that if your application to the new programme is successful, your reserved programme will automatically be withdrawn upon your confirmation of your new offered programme during the Joint Acceptance Period. However, if your application to the new programme is unsuccessful, your reserved programme will still be valid. Thus, you are not required to withdraw in order to reapply.
