Poly students! How to do well in Polytechnic?

  You may say the answer to this question would be just study hard. Im sure there is more to this question; By having serious project mates? good relationship with your lecturer? mix with the right people?

  well, school's starting in a few weeks time. its time to get mentally prepared ya?  so do give me your opinion on how to do well in polytechnic!

  Study hard.

  Serious project mates and serious polymates. Serious! There were alot of people in poly during my time that took studies with a play play attitude, especially in a 26 pt cutoff mechanical engineering course. Plus, at that impressionable age, it was very easy to think skipping lectures were cool, acting bo-chap was cool. The Chinese said, "go in red water become red, go in black water become black". You are and will be whom you mixed with.

  But of course having said that, it doesn;t mean that poly is all work n no play lah. You have to skip some lectures to call urself a poly student. Haha!

  Okay haha cool i will skip lectures then. Im in a engineering course, is it true that first year engineering students will be doing the same modules if so is there anything for me to study for now?

  engineering mathematics, similar if not exactly the same as O level A-Math...

  ya. If u taken a maths in o levels then should be no problem one.

  u really need to be consistent

   

  not exams but projects

   

  i feel projecets pull u up more than papers itself.

  Its easy to do well in poly, be consistent, ask to be spoon fed, thats how many people in poly do well.
