Explain the internal diseconomies of scale in the car industry.
Me only know how to explain the theory part, dunno how to apply to car industry.. Hopefully got people still awake at this time.
car makers are damned big cooperations and products (aka vehicles) got many parts. Achieving efficient flows of information in large businesses is expensive as is the cost of managing supply contracts with hundreds of suppliers at different points of an industry’s supply chain.
many many workers plus they are unionised. Control – monitoring the productivity and the quality of output from thousands of employees in big corporations is imperfect and costly.
Co-operation - workers in large firms may feel a sense of alienation and subsequent loss of morale. If they do not consider themselves to be an integral part of the business, their productivity may fall leading to wastage of factor inputs and higher costs. auto plants practise specialised division of labour.
like dat can or not? anyhow whack one since no one else seem to be awake ha.
Thankeww, that is very useful :D
