Factorisation Problem

  Factorise (a*2-a-12)x*2+(2a*2-4)x + a*2+a=...... * means to the power of 2... a*2 means a square x*2 means x square. Any expert here can help?

  Hi,

    a^2 - a - 12 = (a - ?)(a + ?)

    2a^2 - 4 = 2(a^2 - 2) = 2(a - ?)(a + ?)

    a^2 + a = a(...)

  As suggested by wee_ws. (a-4)(a+3)x*2+2(a*2-2)+a(a+1)...then take out what is common? How to continue.. x*2 means x to power of 2 a*2 means a to power of 2 /
