isnt it start minusing by 2 from 20 for H2 , except that U is 0

i thought the points for h2 goes like this.
A---20
B---17.5
C---15
D---12.5
E---10
S---5

what abt H1? and is MT considered for the points system?

ABCC :( :( GP A c for 2 h2 subjects, physics and chem. wish i raised more of my doubts over here. that puts me at a disadvantage for most of the courses already :(

hey i got ABB for H2s and S for general paper. is it still possible for me to enter uni? do anyone has friends who failed GP but still can enter university? if yes what course? please reply. thank you.

Please do call the university you are going to apply to and ask them, or check out their website. This sort of 'research' should be no problem for a uni fresh grad to be.

S for GP would still be able to get you into U. Don get an ungraded grade can alrdy.

wah nuckingfuts. you sad la. you put in so much effort for ur H1 instead of H2 arh lol. if only u could swap ur H1 grades with ur H2. now i think you can only go overseas. worst grade tt spore U accept is CCD?

Notification of Grade Profile and Course Places for A-level Applicants for the 2009 University Admission Exercise
To provide applicants with information to make their course choices, we are providing information in the following areas:
- Representative grade profiles1 of the 10th and 90th percentilesof applicants offered places in AY 2008 for applicants holding Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level qualifications. The grade profiles refer to the grades scored by A-level applicants in their three H2 and one H1 subjects. For the purpose of this exercise, Grade “C” is assumed for both General Paper (GP) and Project Work (PW) in determining the grade profiles. Please note that certain courses may require grades higher than “C” for GP. More details can be found at NUS admissions website. Please refer to.Table 1.
- The number of course places taken up in AY 2008. The number of places is subject to change from year to year. More details can be found at NUS admissions website. Please refer to Table 3.
Applicants can expect competition to be keener for courses with more stringent grade requirements and fewer places. In using the tables below, please note the following:
- The grade profiles, GPAs and course places may vary from year to year, depending on the number and performance of applicants and the number of places available.
- Meeting the previous year’s grade/GPA scores of a course does NOT guarantee admission to that course for AY 2009.
- The courses marked with an asterisk (*) are those where additional assessments such as interviews, selection tests, and portfolios are required.
- Certain courses may have specific subject requirements. More details can be found at NUS admissions website.

unless i go fass. but im worried i cant find a job easily with an arts degree. but i cant enter even common engineering. unless do civil engineering?? which is closest to my grades. maybe i cant enter also, with 2 Cs. walao!

I understand that students in NUS and NTU have to take QET if their GP falls below a certain grade. That issue is minor because it is just a test. If pass, then he or she no need to take a bridging module on Basic English. The problem is, will the business faculty be willing to accept them in the first place?

i think so too. i put in effort? i didnt even study for anything to be honest ><so now gg, i think i go overseas le. cos i tot singapore uni see results by the points, and by minumum grade but it doesn't look like it.

Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm interested in taking Electrical Engineering but am unsure of whether to go for NTU or NUS. I've checked out their module but it's like almost the same to me. Can anyone offer me any advice or maybe the differences between the 2? Anyway my grades are B for GP and A for the others.
