hi , i would like to ask a qn for my bro, my bro gt a B for maths, Cs for chem and phy, S for GP n a B for PW, may i ask if my bro is eligible for ntu's mech engineering or general enginneering based on last yr's COP released by ntu?

btw just a qn, if i gt str8 Cs for all the subs except a B for PW, do i qualify for gen. engineering in ntu based on the above link?

87.7% of A-level students obtain at least 3 H2 passes, a pass in GP or KI
SINGAPORE: Results of the 2008 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination were released on Friday.
87.7 per cent of the candidates obtained at least three H2 passes and a pass in General Paper (GP) or Knowledge and Inquiry (KI). This is a slight improvement over 2007's 87.5 per cent.
The Education Ministry (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) introduced the new indicator of "three H2 passes, with a pass in GP or KI" in the 2007 A-level exam.
They said this is to reflect the intent of the revised A-Level curriculum, which emphasises both breadth and depth.
Under the revised curriculum, students have to take at least three H2 and one H1 content-based subjects, of which at least one must be a contrasting subject.
School candidates can collect their result slips from their schools, while private candidates will be notified by post.Source: CNA

frankly just getting 3 H2 passes doesn't get your anywhere. no idea why they like to harp on these bare bare minimums.......

I think you can just ask him to apply for it. Because the course that will accept him will not take into account where he places his engineering course on the aplication form.I think so.

to go into U probably u nd at least 60 pts i think. though 60 would not get you into a rather gd course.

Physics : E
Maths : S
H1: PW: B
GP: B
Geog: B -
hmm ur a level points is 58.75 rite? i am not sure abut that. it seems quite low though. you can try civil engineering in U? if you are interested though.

S for H2 is 7.5 what
