The first question asked to show that S = 2 cos x + 8 sin x. However, looking at the diagram below, there seems to be some missing information. I'd grateful if someone could make out where the missing info lies.
Next, the question asked for the value of x for which the area of triangle AOB is half the area of triangle COD. (Is this question in any way affected by the missing info? If no, would someone kindly show me the steps in getting the final answer which is 26.6 degrees)
