Hi All, Need your help, time and explanation pls.
That girl goes to the same school as _____.
Use "I" or "me".
Why ?
TIA
me..
if u wanna use the I then must be " I do "..
Me. As me.
me
i donno how to explain leh.
but if you read it with " I ", it seems singlish
I is a pronoun while me is a ?
Bloody big hint here.
cute is me!
ur now placing the girl as the objective now...so that girl becomes a first person.. I becomes the subject pronoun..but in this case, it's the girl so u use "me", because the second person which is me, becomes an object pronoun.

tsk, no advertising..
I don't know how to explain but soon you will get use to it.
Sure is 'me'.
I is the first person singular subject pronoun, which means that it refers to the person performing the action of a verb.
I want to go.
This is the one I like.
You and I need to get ready.
Tom and I are going to the movies.
Me
Me is an object pronoun, which means that it refers to the person that the action of a verb is being done to, or to which a preposition refers.
David told me to leave.
He gave me ten dollars.
Between you and me, this is a bad idea.
She needs to talk to Joe or me.

Hi
After your explanation about subject and object pronouns, please share your answer. Is it I or me?
Both can be used. But if 'I' must add a DO
For this type of sentence, the verb behind is omitted. It's like "how many dollars do you have?" "I have ten (dollars)". The dollars is omitted, because it's assumed that the listener knows what you are talking about; similarly for this case.
eg. The girl goes to the same school as ____ (do).
In this case, you should put "I" instead of "me", because the sentence will read "The girl goes to the same school as me do" which is wrong.
In this case it's a case of too infrequent usage. People use "me" too much, so much so that they take the "me" as correct and say that "I" is wrong.
I'm no language guru, so I stand corrected. But I'm very sure about this.
Turn the question around.
__________ go to the same school as that girl.
