Anybody has any tips or things to share on studying JC subjects effectively? Like for example in the case of Bio and Chem, do we have to memorize the whole chunk of content in the notes is there any other more effective methods? Everybody share share ur study methods for each of ur subjects leh. Help each other=) hehe.
do u take physics and maths?
if so, you can check out this article written by me
Erm nope. Sorry =P I take the BCME combi. So any other stuff that is for any of those 4 subjects will be gladly accepted haha. Erm they are H2 btw...
Maths: Agreed
Econs: Must read up a lot. Must write well, essays must be supported by case studies, and application of concepts to case studies. Analysis must be given together with case studies; and not just blindly give the case studies.
H2 Chem and Bio, you can ask UltimaOnline. He's an ex-teacher who's a full time tutor specialising in these 2 subjects right now, and helping students here very frequently.

The one in Popular?
Oh no! No wonder so familiar.
That's a great book to read.
But I can't quite seem to find my pattern of studying in the book.
Hi,
Thanks for your support!
The book of solutions is meant to help students make sense of maths in a student-friendly style.
Patterns take time for one to discover and develop. To master maths, you need to:
- know what your learning difficulties and mistakes are;
- know what the important results are and what types of skill are often asked;
- think fast, write fast and give accurate steps within time constraint.
