C = [3(4)+5]
wat thing cannot?
Biangz...EVEN fifi also know.
ask kenn3th himself
sorri 4 not elaborating:
3d + 5 x 4???
that working makes it more complicated and meaningless

ok....

yes?
i rent the bike, so i know.
the cost is.
C = $(3(d)+5)
C= $(3(4) +5)
C= $17

agree.
even fifi also know leh
so this is not a hard question
besides i dun tink bicycle shops make you solve math equations to know how much to pay
d can be substituded in as 4
d can be subbed in as 4 as for example
(cosine rule) a²=b²+c²-2bc sinA < is an equation or a formula.
So (3d + 5)=cost is also a mini formula by itself and d is said to be the amount of time(hours)
Another EASIER formula as an example
Area of triangle= 1/2 x base x height
a=1/2 x b x h
And you know what does a and b and h stands for. Jus sub in b and h or a and b, you can find a and h respectively.
Hope this helps you!
cosine rule> a²=b²+c²-2bc sinA > should be cosine rule) a²=b²+c²-2bc cosA
psps
we can
ur answer book is wrong, as normal

P6 only, say so much will make him more confused

This was the solution the book provided:d hours ----- $(3d + 5)1 hour ----- $(3d + 5)/d4 hours ----- $4(3d + 5)/dcorrect or wrong?my opinion is fireice solution is more logicalcomments???
what bull crap is this?
$(3+5/d)
$(12+60/D)
tell me, what's the cost...

Sub d = 4
Thus;
C= (3[4] + 5) = 12 + 5 = $17
solution above already.
unless ts wants in algebra expression.
