Ok, this time around, I just want to check with you guys an answer.
A freezer contains 10 ice-cream cones of 3 different flavours: chocolate, kiwi and vanilla. The probability of choosing a chocolate cone at random is 2/5 and the probability of choosing a kiwi cone at random is 3/10.
Jia Qi chooses 2 cones at random without replacement.
Find the probability that both cones are chocolate.
My workings: 4/10 X 3/9 = 2/15
However, the answer in my booklet is 2/5, which I thought might be a typo error. (:
thanks guys.
i also get ur answer.
maybe typo?
btw how many marks?
