Haha. I did. But all those things there are quite vague. And I think those only refers to people who did exceptionally well.
I prefer personal experiences. Those with friends who graduated with that diploma.

well, to put it badly, wash testtubes and look after machines. basically lab tech.
even getting a degree in it doesn't get you very far.
alternatively you could do sales (biomedical instruments or products) or maybe product engineers for those products if you got biomedical engineering.
Research is almost impossible for diploma only. and even with a degree, unless you're good, you won't be doing much of that. and if you're good and want to do research you'll find avenues for permenant head dmg.
I got into Ngee Ann Poly Dip in Advertising and Public Relations(my first choice) and it is a new course[40 slots]. Anyone here gunning for same course?

intakes for new courses are normally very small one lah. basically either because the school is not really prepared for it, or they want a batch of guinea pigs to see if it works before they expand the numbers.
btw have you checked if the diploma they are offering has been accredited by whatever relevant bodies?

O.oh... For some reason i have second thoughts about taking that course now... Still can appeal to another course now rite?
Anyways i am really interested in taking that course. But accredition is with foreign unis and NTU(to a smaller extent). Should I take this course or change?

First choice for mine too, but one point away from COP. Now trying to appeal through DAE, as told by the people at NP.
Anyone know what to do next after you know the result( if you do not want to appeal?)

it's typical and for some of e new courses, e intake never went abv 100 (so far for e recent 3 yrs) except for Nursing (from 100 to 500 now)

Whaa...
Nursing so popular ah? Is it a 90% female thing or what? My mum(an ex-Korean nurse) said (for Asia)most pple who take courses like that are females(coz of job security).
