Hi,
A little bit too early.
It's important to ponder over the need for assessment books. If your school provides sufficient work for you to learn concepts and skills, and you are keeping up with the pace of lessons, then you should be okay by right. If you need further practice to acquire mastery, your textbook is packed with revision exercises and specimen exam papers (I am referring to maths books). Also, you may ask your teachers to provide you with your school 's recent sec 1 exam papers nearer mid-year or final-year exams. So, is there really a need for assessments books? Frankly, the market is flooded with too many assessment books and it is not easy to sieve out the really quality ones that will meet your learning needs. What really matters is the learning process with an objective in mind.
It is necessary to play hard too. A relaxed mind can help you learn a lot better.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Wen Shih

Sec 1 don't need any serious revision. Just listen in class and do your homework properly and you should be able to pass it with flying colours.
Hi,
Teachers say hard to discourage students from becoming complacent ;)
