Official O levels Results Crapping/Complaining Thread

haix.. in the end ok ok la. mediocre results.. i knew i my maths won get A1 after i saw alot of people crying in front of me ( i was the last register, no help from moderation )
Science = A1
English = A2
Comb humads = B3
E maths = B4
M.T = C6
1 CCa point = alltogether l1r4 15

I'm eligible to apply for the courses which is displayed in Form A. But what if I got rejected by all my 12 choices?

You will be put to a new course in the Poly closest to your house
New course as in super high cut-off point

My physics prelims I hand in blank paper. :D ok not blank, there was a beautiful pencil sketch of a McLaren Formula 1 car on it ^^
Yet here I am topping modules at university in UK having gotten here on my own merit. lol. Never did like math tho -

english cannot study one, A2 not bad la. I got A1 for it tho ^^. I assume you're going to JC? Heres a word of advice: Do not write in the way they teach you to in JC for GP. Singapore teachers don't know what an A1 essay should be. You do it their way, at best with superflous language and excellent essay structuring, you get A2. When I was in JC they failed my GP all the way, but I couldn't give a shit. Come a levels, I got my A1
. Remember the actual GP a level paper is marked in UK, and I'm topping my english module in a UK uni right now so you know I'm right . -

Anyways, I got 11 before bonus, sigh. Failed my HMT. -_- So after cca bonus is 9 points. Am considering AJC/MJC/SAJC. But I don't know to choose the science route or arts route. On one hand, I love literature. Not very interested in history, hates geography. On the other, love chemistry and physics. (Although I need to work very hard for physics..)

I got 12 sigh. Duno why gt A2 for phy and chem(maybe cos of spa)- my biggest disappointment
Greatest amazement: A2 for bio when i expected to get like B4 cos i never got A2 for bio before.
Best study: Geog, i studied till i can vomit all the info.

Dammit got back my HMT today. Was expecting an A1 but got an A2 instead and i was still telling my parents how confident i am to land an A1. Now i feel dam paiseh la.

Cutoffs and terms like ELR2B2 can be found in JAE booklet downloadable from:
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/jae/
It will be good to speak to the academic counsellors of institutions that you are interested to go register for. Your choice of institutions matter also, so make a wise decision ranking your options. The process of assigning students to institutions is also mentioned in the booklet, so do read carefully.
