After O levels..

hey guys, i know this monday results gonna come out.
here's my case,
i know i will surely not make it to POLY or JCs.
so where can i go after that?
i cant do private because army sent me a letter saying if i don defer by a date, i will do my check up.
and the letter also says, only if enter government schools, like JCs or POLYs, then can defer.
so how now?
anyone got any solutions?
i kind of don really like the idea of entering the army any sooner.
beside higher nitec, anywhere else?any serious suggestions will be appreciated.

I thought there's some private poly which says can defer NS? But from what I think, high chance cannot defer.
What L1R4 points do you think you will get? Oh ya, you can try MI, a 3 years JC course. Can defer NS.

hmm dude. just to highlight. NS =/= army.
bdw, im a living example. i finished Os with L1R4 20. but din have a course i like, so @ 16, i went to NS, ORDed last year, now working, and will be starting school next month.
U will need to face your NS sooner or later, why not go now if u are unsure about your future? U will change in NS and after your ORD, hopefully u have a clearer view of your life and u wun need to have any stops for your studes(refering to NS), you can study straight all de way then work le.

why dun serve your NS first?
den u save up some cash during ur NS, when u come out, u can decide whether to re-take your Os, go work and learn some skills, etc

You still have other alternatives other than Higher Nitec/Nitec depending on your O level results.
Maybe you can...
Retake your O Level as a private candidate. You must register yourself with a private institution that offers O Level course. I've seen many student going ITE to take up their night class for O levels.
Call up ITE for more information about their O level course.

If you are interested in arts or managing, I think you can go to shatac or go to nafa, get a diploma over there.

is shatec/nafa course fees more expensive than the polytechnics?
but anyway, if TS come out after ns, really is laojia liao... dunno how u going to clique with those 16/17 poly students.

Hey have some faith in yourself,I screwed up my O levels but I still managed to enter a JC(Not being arrogant here) so wait till your results are out then decide.as for the time being,don't worry so much. Well,in case you can't make it,there's SHATEC and ITE.Well,the stigma associated with ITE students isn't that bad now so you can actually consider.Hope my advice is useful to you. -weixin
