  Just don't forget to go to the library especially J.E and look out books like Modern Design/Top design or even home furniture for ideas & elaboration of mindmap. Of course it depends on the theme. Yet in term of shapes, it is superb! try not to have to many odinary shapes in ur artefact..

  did u noe that the marking for this year and onward for D&T will be at a centralised area?

  so if 2 persons even from different schs have similiar ideas, you can get a fail for it.

  I only can find 2 sources.

  1 from wiktionary and another from freedictionary

  nid 5 from different sources and 1 from urself nya....

  i no creative juice for now... just woke up. brain dunwan work

  tidiness... hmm...  u can just look out for things that is messy and how can u make it neater. Wardrobe? bookshelves? shoerack? computer desk? cd rack? .... hehe..

  I already got ideas from my last year research in the library... I really advice u guys to go there!!

  During 2007 when i was in Sec4 my DNT theme was 'manipulation' and my product uses a unique type of electric circuit thing that was inspired from the anime/manga "Death note" where Light hid his death note in the exploding drawer where you can only open it by inserting an insulating thin rod shaped object (such as a refillable pen ink tube) that pushes away a rubber padding to open a lock that is in between two metal plates in order to keep the circuit opened which prevents the drawer from igniting. I got an A1 for that idea too : D

  this type not hope. everyone will think of this. how abt..a storage compartment that can store different things for eg stationaries,toys,photos,CDs,books,electronics etc to keep ur room tidy and stuff

  Each of the different categories will have different compartments. The artefact can be make using acrylic and wood for the base. 

  

  The top and bottom will be different pieces. The small rod at the right is out there so that the top cover can open by turning the cover. The lazy susan is used so that the whole thing will be able to spin. U might wan to add some LED to the artefact in order to satisfied the technology part.,but its up to u :D
