1.If the time taken to melt 10g of ice at 0 degree celsius is 1 minute. How long will it take to vaporise 10g of water at 100 degree celsius using the same heater?
2.what is the wavelength of a longitudinal wave?
Thanks all.^_^

1st question, you need the specific latent heat capacity of vaporisation and fusion of water
Find the amt of energy required to melt the ice. Divide by 60 s to find the power.
Find the amt of energy required to vaporise the water. Divide by the power to find teh time needed.
2nd question
Wavelength for longitudinal wave is distance between the centres of two consecutive compressions or rarefactions
