Since chem paper 3 was so easy, you guys think the p1 and p2 will be damn difficult?
Also, if math papers altogther average 60 plus marks, you guys think can get at least B?
I'm damn worried for my future!!!!!
Dont worry so much? You guy or girl? If guy, you can always retake the A levels as a private candidate while you are in NS. My friend manage to get A,A,B in the second time round even though he scored C,D,D in the first A level exams.
haha its ok I guess since everyone find the papers hard=X

(a) Glass is transparent and allows for easy reading of the height of the mercury in the thermometer. Glass also has a high melting point which is usually higher than the maximum temperature a mercury-in-glass would measure.
(b) Mercury expands at a uniform rate? The using of a liquid which expands at a smaller rate allows for the measure of a larger range of temperature over each unit length?
A lot of things are repeated between O levels and A levels mah
This question appeared in part of an A level physics revision.

for chem paper 2, already got predictions that there will be quite a lot of physical chem, since so much of paper 3 was organic chem. physical chem is harder, for me la. so i think it wont be much better.
jiayou to everyone who's taking chem paper 2 tmr.
I'm actually quite surprised that the data analysis actually tests on linear law, cos I thought it would be something special. But nevertheless, it was ok, but I couldn't suggest values for m & n.
Let's say you found the gradient. Is it 400?
R^n = kT^m
n lg R = m lg T + lg k
And a graph of lg R vs lg T is plotted, what is the gradient?
m / n = 400
lg k / n = 0.5317
Then wasn't given values for k. I think have to guess for value of k or what.
chem today is dam scam.
first 39 marks were relatively easy.
last qsn 21 marks. abit wth...
what did u guys wrote for the type of reaction from CuCl2 to D? and oxidation no.?
complex formation? +2?
hey, just a qn regarding phy paper 2.. what is the max. acceleration by which the particle will cease contact? is it 9.81 or 20? And ya.. i sorta did badly for chem paper 2 and 3, though lots of ppl find paper 3 easy.
me 2! I screwed up my chem p2. The last question on transition was weird=X

No la. Not from top JC.
The t=40ms one have to get the value of R from the previous figure then log R then plot on the graph.
I wrote [CuCl4]2+! I think I'm dead. And I don't know the white solid is CuCl when it appears that quite many know.
Somemore I wrote "Ethene" as "Ethane" for the first question. =X

Yea ethene, but i wrote ethane! Ah die.
Originally posted by jaydunkfull:careless?? should be 2-? isnt it ethene? then mild oxidation you get diol.
anyway, you know your stuff la. haiii. where are you from?
Should be 2-. Once I write 2+ I think the others all gone liao. -_-
AJ. You?

got econs paper tmr. but i dont feel like studying at all. booooooo. what papers have you left?
H1 Econs 2pm later. I'm studying now, going sleep and 8am study again. It's either die or pass in 3 hours!
Then almost done. H2 Chem & Phy MCQ left.
