ya.. and my friend only studied governance and it came out.
waste my time.. grr..
Sri Lanka & Northern Ireland :D That was the most confident theme I studied for out of the 3, yay! But I have a question, cause of conflict between Sinhalese and Tamils by British colonial rule? What's that? I wrote that as the Sinhala only policy because at first under the rule of British the english educated Tamils got the jobs in the government but then so now independence already then they go change to Sinhala so the Tamils didn't get the job. Anyone can confirm? T.T

before sri lanka gained independence, under the British rule, the Tamils benefitted more since they were english-educated.this created tension. so your statement can link to this. I think you are right.

HUHHHHHHH :( WHYYYYYYYYY, can't I write any other factors that caused the conflict? Since they asked "How far was the cause of the Sinhalese-Tamil conflict due to the British colonial rule of Sri Lanka?" or something like that. :( -cries-

You can write the other factors that caused the conflice (those you've learnt), but you must say that the British had a part in all those, and therefore, it's the British's fault.

Okay I included British in all :D but I didn't really blame British know, because I said if they had enough understanding even under the British rule, nothing could cause their conflict. >.< Is it okay? :(

cos the factors (ie sinhala only, citizenship) are all policies made by the govt.

'...if they had enough understanding'? Do you mean that the people are stupid? Or ignorant?
Anyway, I think it'd be better if you included a final paragraph that states that if the British did not bring the Tamils from India to Sri Lanka, then this would not have happened because the Tamils would understand that they are the insignificant minority and the government would obviously place the issues of it's citizens first.
