lol, wth, no cell division, no mol gen, omg.
so is good or bad?
so did the widely discussed fermenter thing come out?
no, it did not. the Q are quite straight forward- almost all recall Q.
Moderation high high niao.
WTH.
I spent the whole morning studying about insulin production and DNA transcription/translation, and none of it came out?!
By the way, what was the answer for the first question? Was it the golgi body or the rough ER?

Indeed.
1) cell (surface) membrane
rough ER
mitochondrion (R- mitochondria)

Should be RER, because those are 'dots' around that structure, not circles.. I think.
It's rough ER. The paper was so easy. I hereby laugh at all the people who studied Molecular Genetics and memorised the part on fermenters and genetic engineering very thoroughly :P
lol, do finish like left 30-40mins to check.
YAY :D No more science paper 2s~~
sian... i study fermenter, heart, lungs... then end up the question all so easy... all give away de... label so many things... then all chapter is infront de chapter... oh mannnnn.... studied for nth zz...no genetics diagram also.... aiya....

Oh yeah I was hoping for genetic diagrams to come out cos I like drawing them :D
too easy. i should have studied. Was aiming c6 but think now aim b3 liao
By the way, what does mitochondrion do? There was a part (b) to the question which asks what it does. I wrote: it produces energy. Is it correct?
As for the graph, was it supposed to be a straight line that doesn't pass through some points?

Don't be too sure. If everyone can do it, then they'll moderate your marks until you get a C6.

What a waste of time, then.
I studied the same things too. I thought fermenter, molecular genetics and cardiac cycle is going to come out...
...what a disappointment.
mitochondrion function = It is the site for respiration.
I thought that question asked for the process at mitochondria and not the function? I wrote aerobic respiration.
dude Er must be spelt out right? i didnt know the spelling so i wrote
'' rough endotrium(RER)''
And yeah i hate this paper. I think i will fail. I spent too much time studying eye and egentic that none came out. WTF! Lousy paper. seriously arent exam papers' purpose to test if you know your content well? 2 chapters not in. what is this sheet.

tats me. im being lafed at. :(

state what happens. respiration should be enough lar.

Relax. Yes they are but come on, look at the amount of questions they can set, they can't possibily include all 22 chapters.
Fail? =/ Was it that bad..? Other than the cell maybe you have forgotten but others?

Oh no, I didn't know it was used in respiration!
Ah, one mark down.
