Your part (b) was the same as mine.

Ur diagram looks werid leh. How come the number 1 on the same axis. One should be in box (number 2) and number 2 should be in box number 4 and so on. I not so sure. Can anyone clarify?

Yup I drew out the entire table, and used calculator to check my answers. Btw I think the table values from 3rd column onwards should be 14, 11, 5. I just redid the question.
shld be correct. 11, 14 5?
I drew a tree diagram for the possibility question lol. Used up the whole page.
razor how do you get your last answer. how come 18(...)
just a rough diagram
cos 6 and 3 are multiples of 3, so looking at the diagram i posted, there are 18 possibilities not 20, as replacement doesn't occur.
Originally posted by Theguiltshow:It was alright, a lot of thinking and tedious work but doable. I lost one mark due to carelessness, read "product is 7" as "sum is 7". Minus one mark. Shall I type out all my answers? Do tell me if yours are different :(
1a) (7p-14)/p
b) (3g - 2f) / (f + 2g)
c)(i) (x + 11/2)^2 + (-45.25) (Not sure about this....)
c)(ii) x= 1.23(2dp), x=-12.23(2dp)
2a) 6.17m
b) 1.89m
c) 30.1m sq
d) 6.47m
3a) $22 500
b) Materials = $0.30, wages= $0.24
c) 75 souvenirs an hour
d) 19.3%
e) $1.60
4a) u5= 2^4 + 9 = 25(shown)
b) u6= 2^5 + 11 = 43
c) 2^(n-1) + 2n – 1
d) 524327
e)(i) (was able to show)
e)(ii) 2^(n-2) + 2
5a) (1200/m) cents
b) (2m^2 + 1194m – 3600) / m
c) (was able to show)
d) m= 75
e) 18 cents
6a) angle ALD = angle CLB (vert opp angles)
Angle CBL = angle ADL (angles in same segment)
Therefore 3rd angle is the same.
All 3 angles are the same, therefore triangle LAD is similar to LCB.
b)(i) 90 degrees
(ii) 14 degrees
(iii) 32 degrees
(iv) 14 degrees
7a)(i) 1.35 radians
(ii) 766.2cm sq
b)(i) 52.1cm
(ii) 13.9 degrees (unsure)
8a)(i) 2.04cm
(ii) 43.3cm sq
b) (I forgot to write down my answer in my question paper, I got 8.38cm cube I think)
c)(i) (managed to show)
(ii) 27.3%
9a) p= -3.2
c) x= 0.4, x=3.3
d) -2.59
f)(i) x= 0.45
(ii) A= 1, B= -12, C= 12 (I think this is wrong I anyhow do haha)
10a) frequency by column: 3, 7, 12, 13, 5
(ii)(a) 15kg
(b) 4.45kg
(iii) Cumulative frequency curve will be steeper (I don’t know about this!!)
b)(i) I drew a tree diagram, 36 branches in all (don’t know which diagram they wanted)
(ii)(a) 1/5
(b) 5/36
(c) Answer is 0 (I got this wrong; careless)
(d) 7/15 (unsure)
I got 76.1 for qn 7(b)(ii)

i did 2( 2/6 * 4/5) which is wrong because i didnt include when both are multiples of 3. XD
Haha for the last question I didn't use diagrams, I did
P(none are multiples of 3)= 2/3 x 4/5 = 8/15
Therefore, P(at least one multiple of 3) = 1 - 8/15 = 7/15
Haha I don't know. Not willing to guarantee I got all right. I'm just praying over here haha.

i got what guilt got.

I must have done it wrongly then. Did you use cosine rule?
Originally posted by Vendettus:I must have done it wrongly then. Did you use cosine rule?
yes cosine rule. to be honest i dont rmb the ans but i know it is dam small. yup i did it again it is indeed correct. Your b and c shld be 215.4
Ah great, I used cosine rule but didn't use cos. I used sine...
WTH.
I started answering with the words 'By cos rule, ...' and then used a-square equals to b-square plus c-square minus two b-c sin A.
Woohoo! NO MORE MATHEMATICS!
I DIDN'T SEE QUESTION 1[C][II] LEAVE TO 2DP! -dies-
Anyway I think for the CF curve it should be : 3, 7, 14 , 11, 5. Mean: 14.8kg, SD:4.4. Describe the curve, I think it should be gentler.
As for probability:
[a] 1/5
[b] 2/15
[c] 0
[d] 3/5
The rest same answers~

Good, at least I've someone to die with in case my answers are wrong.
wah 88 marks still not safe
i tink i cant even pass

Hey, don't worry. I'm down to 82 marks already.
Originally posted by Vendettus:Good, at least I've someone to die with in case my answers are wrong.
I have no one to die with :'(
Originally posted by Theguiltshow:I have no one to die with :'(
Then it's good isn't it? You're not going to die.
Lost more than 20 marks liao. Got careless mistakes again! =.="
Originally posted by Vendettus:Then it's good isn't it? You're not going to die.
No one got same answers as me for probability = I die first, and I die alone.
It's okay, no one's going to die!!!!! *consoles self*
can someone type out the probability question?

Well that's what you get for an easy paper.
