Hello all. its approx 1 hour before the paper 2 starts. yes i know, abit too fast to open thread liao~

sian la all the free marks like the circle and the probability diagram i no time to do!!! >.<!!
i re counted all my marks tht i got correct ( if carelessness was excluded) i only got 74 doh!!
the stupid apple question made me stuck for 15 mins i couldnt equate (m-3) ( 1200/m + 2) T.T and when i did it back i couldnt reach the final equation....
zz last time hope get A1 for math.. now A2 looks like a miracle. ( hope they moderate till 40 is passing and 70 is A1 =) )

I got careless at the apple question, I did (m-3)(1200/m)+2(m-3) :(
And the circle question, I had the value but didn't put it down, so I didn't see the isos triangle. Argh, 8 marks gone... And many more.

Will they penalise if you nva do your workings on graph on the graph paper itself? Coz I do on a seperate piece of paper, but they say do the whole question on the graph paper which kind of doesn't make sense coz the back page of the graph paper is another set of grids.

I had my answers on a separate piece of paper once during a school exam, and I got zero for the entire thing ..

My sch prelims I also do on seperate, but they got mark. So i dunno O lvl standard. Very idiot lor, do question liao still must do on wad paper wad paper. -

It was alright, a lot of thinking and tedious work but doable. I lost one mark due to carelessness, read "product is 7" as "sum is 7". Minus one mark. Shall I type out all my answers? Do tell me if yours are different :(

lol that apple question was a challenge to my brain cells.
At first tot can get full marks for emath. But too bad i minus one mark cos i didnt time 12 to get vol of all the pencils. XD

10(d) P(at least 1 is multiple of 3)= 3/5 -
This paper is quite simple than my prelim paper, i managed to have the same answer as my firends!:P

My frequency is different from yours leh. mine is 4,3,13,14,6. The graph will be less steep coz the figures are more spread out. Probability my answers totally different from yours (except the 0 part)
possibilty diagram is the grid box i think.
my answers for probabilty is

b) 1/18
c) 0
d) 5/9.

Everything else the same as mine? For the mean and SD I did both table method and used calculator, it tallied. What method did you use! :) -

i got got an answer that includes A=0.

I wanted to write gentler gradient but I changed my mind in the end haha. Paper 1 was easier right! Anyway did you get the rest of the answers same as mine? I'm really hoping not to lose more than 10 marks for this! :( -

Some I really dunno so I don't want type out here. But mostly same as ur answer. Except maybe 5 small parts (excluding last 2 questions). I think P2 easier than paper 1... haha dunno la. A1 sure gone coz paper 1 i alot of careless =.=" -

For mean, I used mid-value x freq / 40
this is my probability Q
got 6 identical balls, so P(getting any ball) = 1/6, P(getting ball in 2nd draw wo replacement)= 1/5 -
