I read everything from the theme Authoritarian Regimes, so kind of expected what came out... -

Anyway, what do you think of the new syllabus' questions? Personally, I don't find having all three essay questions phrased in the same manner interesting. No, not interesting at all. The 'do you think it was necessary...' start was also quite unexpected.
By the way, what was this 'Nazi family policy'?

you mean part b)? it is soooo easy free marks. It is easier than the normal ''given factor'' 12 mark cos they already provide you with all the factors. Family policy should mean : woman stay at home make babies, men go out and earn money.

You mean just explain the factors?

Describe (briefly) the factors, then explain all three factors. If you have enough time, identify the more important factor. Otherwise, you may wish to simply agree to the statement.
Agreeing to the statement naturally offers less marks compared to taking the haste to compare and contrast between factors (which personally, I find a waste of time).
By the way, Davidche, I don't think Stalin came out last year. According to my Hist. TYS, there was no mention of Stalin last year.

thank god i spent the last of yesterday afternoon browsing tht exact topic about the Nazi family policy. its basicly = unemployment rate = super high + kick out women from the workforce to fulfill thier natural roll as mothers + give thier jobs to men= ease unemployment rate. ( atleast i think so, thts what i wrote in my SBQ part 1a for contextual knowledge marks =P)
i did question 3b ->went to source base-> completed the super easy 3a when the teacher said " OK you have 15 more mins left"
i believe 3a is tht 5 para Qn and 3b is 8 para? can some1 comfirm this for me pl0x

russion war is the same chapter as stalin what.
Also, for part 4a) cold war qn. It is kinda hard cos ans not in textbook. And must rmb to show both sides.

My teacher said Nazi family policies aren't in our syllabus (the new one). Kinda unfair haha, well at least I interpreted the sources correctly. Just made up my contextual knowledge but that should be expected from me haha.

acutally the textbook did state about the nazi family policy in hitler's dictatorship. It is quite unexpected that they only give us 4 sources. My school always give us 5 :P
