Is it true that, in order to go to jc, I have to pass MT? If I dont, but hit the entry requirements for whatever jc, does it mean I still cant go? :(
Also: If I currently take combined science, can I still take a H2 science subject in jc? (Other than Math)

I'll leave that to HipHop or some other Moderator or JC student to answer you. But from what I understand, as long as your L1R5 qualifies, you can be admitted into JC. But you still have to study and pass ('AO' level?) MT at JC level, while your peers study MT at a higher level in the JC.

This is subject to the individual JC's discretion. In other words, some JCs allow, some do not. But I expect most should allow (combined science at 'O' levels), as prerequisite for H2 science.
Although (almost all) JCs no longer allow you to study a H2 or even H1 science subject, if you didn't study it at all (whether Pure or Combined) at your 'O' levels. They used to allow students to study Biology at H2/H1 even if you had absolutely no Biology background at 'O' levels. But it seems they (almost all JCs) no longer allow this.
if i am not wrong, for combined science students, must get A1 for science to take H2 science.students that did not take A.math also cannot take H2 math.
Lots of thanks guys... this'll boost my efforts to get the A1 for science..
I've got one of the weirder combos: Phys/Bio (Both which I enjoy taking!)
i think that you just need D7 for mother tongue to get into JC
I do know that we need at least a D7 or a pass in MT(B)
my question is in the fear that I dont meet either of the requirements, by some chance
Will that mean I cannot go JC, or... need a interview, even?
Zandermccoll what school are you from?
