A maths was to me easier than E maths when I was in sec 4
I always score higher for A maths than E maths

Which is why I prefer to tutor A Maths... The practise done in A Maths will benefit the E Maths too.
Unfortunately parents tend to get worried when the E Maths Sec 3 exams come back is weaker than the A Maths. They don't know that E Maths can be sorted out in 4 lessons usually because you are tracking their flaws in AM. And certain school exams are ridiculously difficult which lead students off in the wrong direction of "I want to learn how to answer difficult questions..." instead of the " I want consistency in O level standard questions". Such exams are good if the student is well grounded but damned jialat if the student is weak and demoralise them.
But for someone taking EM only, tutoring them is painful coz the coverage is so broad. KNN more than 30 farking topics and usually the algebra is weak which take boring practise. For AM students, you just have look at their EM prelims to find their weaknesses plus the usual suspect topics then troubleshoot. One month settled and ready to go for the O levels and whether it is A1/A2/B3... it is their trouble.
I would advise you to try to take only AM students... much more relaxing. I only have 1 EM student coz zzz talk on phone not clear then whwn I go I feel her attitude very good so continued. And 2 N level students coz is introduced by people one cannot reject. Now weighing whether to ask the parent to ask school can take AM for sec 5 or not... coz not confident can hit A2 in AM with twice a week lessons or not... But if he don't get the practise from AM... then the EM I scared.
Tuition is so fun when the student is actually interested in learning. Which is why we are tutors instead of teachers... Can refuse to take student and no need to be role models. I hear the sighs from a teacher friend I dunno whether to pity him or wanna LOL at him. His tuition student ($80/hr) got full marks for the AM paper 1 (he claim) and yet his school grading he going to get a D/E because of office politics.

Eh it is standard. I bet you also saw the other circle which is inside the triangle which touch all 3 lengths as tangents. When locus was in sillybus, we memorise these 2 wat. I did mention these 2 cases in passing how to do these to my students despite it not being in sillybus. Those can remember good cannot remember too bad... I mentioned before already. :P

I'm so relieved. Easiest paper I've ever done. If P2 is this easy then I'm almost sure of my A1 :-) All my friends said it was damn easy too!
I got the lighthouse question and graph sketching wrong though, sigh :-( That's about 4 marks. I had about 20mins to check my paper, and if I didn't make any careless mistakes, I'm pretty sure I lost <10 marks.
So relieved! Hope P2's this easy too :-D

haixx i am so dead so depress..AAHH CRap.! 7 marks worth blanks!! plus the stupid 300% aRHH!! i tot is 3 i am dead x.x ...I already prepare about 20marks for cambridge to claim lers x.x ..They say since Paper 1 is easy so Paper 2 will be difficult? WAA sianz

I hope Paper 2 won't be difficult :-( But I'm usually stronger in P2. Weird, since P1 is supposed to be testing your basic knowledge of math haha
