nope i didn't say you are wrong.
just say i have that thought.

well, most of them will be starting in JC/Poly next year, and I don't want them to go in with totally no idea what integration and differentiation are actually used for. Because they will be touching it a lot, at least in H2 Maths.
Also, there are A level students looking at such threads too. Stated out of O level syllabus is for those taking O levels to ignore for the moment, but for those A level people who are looking as well, they should be clear about it and they should know this extra info.
Finally, there are quite a number of people looking at old threads (at least I managed to track such statistics for posts a few months old when they clicked on the link to my website). I also do not want students who might want to look back this thread half a year later when they are in JC and stick to what is taught at O levels, which is sadly, very limited and overly simplified.
Your point on synergy was valid, although not in answering the question at all. That's the reason why I didn't edit away your other posts.
the act of integration, defined strictly in the termsof "changing of the equation using the o level technique" is the exact opposite of differentiation.
i would imagine people doing revision to look back old thread, or new old level students to look at old threads
o level is limited, but they are still here to seek for help means they have trouble coping or understanding, so they would want to simplify stuff for them instead.
just my thought again.
