oh yes! hahaha.
but anyway, if you were to really set up this place, renting a place near city area is not going to be cheap.
If u also take in the consideration that if u gonna hire someone to man the place day and night,

Then wad with the free dinner and breakfast when u have to pay 10?
sorry admission fee will include breakfast and dinner
dude ... if it's affirmation for your idea that you're trying to seek, you can already see that you're not getting it .... and with good reasons I think ......
so ..... it's either good luck ! .... but good luck ! ....
or ..... move onto the next big idea .... ;)
Hmm, why nt try to be more specific in ur target audience?
when parents (esp secondary school students) come chasing for their children at the study area...well....
If i were parents of my children, i probably wouldnt take the excuse of letting my secondary school children study at the place in the midnight.
Dont target sec schs lor.
Tertiary institutes seen like a better idea.
i was thinking targeting at student that is preparing on their N,O, A levels which I realise really need a place to study.
When I was younger, i went to Changi airport, Mcdonald to study but always have to worry about being chase away.
I have also try studying at home but i always fall a sleep at that point i was hoping that there is such a place whereby i can study properly and safely.
Any way thanks guys for your views.

It's one way you can tell if the business idea is viable mah
suggestion to Threadstarter:
Put forward a proposal over here, let us examine each section of the proposal one by one so that we can help you if you really wish to set one up.
Example could be viablilty, feasibility, economically sustainable or not, blah blah blah.
i say, impose cover charge and get 2 glasses of coffee
then these young ones can go to a bright open room / building with no music and study together.
hahahaha~
maybe one shot of caffeine for $3 will help.

There are already existing facilities in the tertiary institutions...free but not exactly 24 hrs...although U can stay overnight if U really want to do it...
anyway...for such an idea to really take off...there has to be a steady stream of customers...most people...at least those doing overnight studying...are last-minute crammers...are there so many exam periods to go around?Uni/Poly/A level/O level...I dont think U want to include PSLE...
