yea my teacher suggested this to me as well. but if i take NIE courses, i can only use the degree solely for careers in the education sector. and furthermore, NIE degrees are not as prestigious. i went for a career talk on education recently and the speaker suggested us to opt for degrees from local uni such as NUS or NTU. if we cannot get into these uni, we will then opt for NIE.

But the bad thing is u only got Biology(Education) degree which only allows u to be a teacher. Therefore, if you want a open door for u to leave education career, get a biological science degree which will allow you to be both a teacher or a biologist.
Btw, dun be too bothered with the PhD thingy, so long u got that bio degree u can choose to work oversea where opportunity is abundant.
yep exactly. i have no idea if i wanna be a teacher for good. who knows, what if one day i got bored of teaching and want to try something else? im thinking that getting a biological science degree can open more doors for me in future. hm, with h2 biology and h1 chem, can i get a biological science degree?

u confirm can get no worries ;) provided u dun flaunt ur A level.
However, if u are aiming for first class honour then be prepared to work extra hard as lot of efforts are needed.
