hi guys i need some help~
as u all noe basic ECG lead is made up of 3 lead. left arm, right arm and left leg, forming the Einthoven's triangle, plus a right leg for grounding. so my qns is,
can the left leg and right leg replaces the left arm and right arm for ECG measurement? (assuming dat we are measuring a one lead ECG, which is only taking the left arm and right arm for ECG measurement, without right leg as reference)
thanks and hope to hear views on this~
Not too sure wor.
My course of study briefly touch on the 12 leads. >.<
because it is for my project.
i also studied 12 leads (though i think not very detailed), ya lo. i got this qns. hmm.....help! arr!
i think can.. but the machine will beep like crazy cause missing lead and ur pqrst wave wont be accurate

i noe. cause my project is doing this and i have tested it on both thumb. and my project's ultimate aim is to get ECG waveform (one lead, so it is noisy) when the two electrode touches the two legs of the person, instead of the thumb.
i have this qns because i noe right leg is always used as reference, but i wan to be sure if two legs can be used instead of two thumbs.
sigh, i hav been losing sleep because of this~
nope..
wont be accurate

but PQRS waveform can still be detected?
or simply too inaccurate?

i dont think can be detected. why not u just try?

i tried but cant get anything. because i not very sure whether is my circuit need to fine tune or is it not even possible to get.
need to test the theory soon. tmr.
tested the theory out and it works.
thanks for all the help!
