For NTU/NIE freshmen: NTUBS Camp Nirvana Singapore '08

Come and experience a different kind of freshmen Orietation Camp!
With the motto of To Learn, To Realise, To Practise and To Share, we as Nanyang Technological University Buddhist Society have strived our best to organize various activities for NTU/NIE youths from years to years. These activities ranges from fun and exciting one like amazing race and sport day to more serious activities like mediation session. One of our major events is Camp Nirvana Singapore (CNS).
CNS 08 (Inspirations in Life 生命ä¸çš„感动)is organized for NTU/NIE freshmen who are entering NTU/NIE in this coming August.
The objectives of the camp are
- to help freshmen adapt to new environment in the university
- to introduce how Buddhism can be applied to university life
- to build up spiritual friendship between seniors and freshmen
Theme: Noble Eight Path
Date: 14 July 08-18 July 08
Venue: NTU Campus, Kong Meng San Phor Kark See, Aloha Changi Fairy Point Chalet
Camp fee: S$15 (heavily subsidized)
Activities are separated into two categories: team bonding games that includes indoor and outdoor games and treasure hunt and Dharma related programs like meditation sessions and Dharma Talks.
CNS is more than a religious camp. It is very different from normal freshmen orietation camp. Lets get rid of the mind set that Buddhist camp is boring! This camp is full of warmth, friendliness and zealous fun! Do come and experience it by yourself!
