Plant Nutrition
Objective:
To investigate the growth of a plant
Instructions:
- You are
required to sow several seeds and measure the growth of the plants for 3 weeks. The seed can be any one type of seed of your own choice. It can be bought or dug
out from the fruits available in your kitchen at home. Types of seeds you
can work with are green bean, red bean, chilly, lime, papaya. You may want
to work with several types of seeds, out of which you would submit only one type.
- Consider
the variable you intend to measure.
- Consider
how you are going to keep other variables constant, as much as is possible
under practical constraints.
- Carry out your investigation and keep a record
of your investigation using a table. Your data should allow you to plot a
graph as part of your submission.
- Use the
general rubric provided, or modify it to fit your investigation better.
Bonus marks will be awarded for thoughtful modifications made to the rubric.
- Rubric is
to be used to make a self assessment of your investigation.[No marks for
