Like how do I start studying again? Get tuition teachers? Doesn't sound feasible to study on my own out of nowhere, chances are I'll probably get lost and not know where to start.
try out my method of redoing all the TYS questions with your summarized notes...
Means do open-book

well basically, almost all subject...
Maths reason for doing again and again --> to get use to applying the formula so you will minimize mistake...
Science reason --> there is a limit for the question in science -.-" they just keep repeating itself lol
Social studies --> there amount of question is even more limited... i can even count the number of possible type of essay... lol
hard part of SS, you never know what the source base is...
History --> isnt it the same with SS except you not learning about current policy but instead past policies?
English --> i dunno how to study this thats why i flung in this subject lol
Since u are in NS, it is hard to take classes.. but if u study alone, u can try to get those tutors that also teach in secondary sch.. so they know the updated stuffs.. but u need to on your part work very hard.. everyday must study, weekends also must..
It is possible, but u need to be very determined to really get good grades.. if u can, of course i still think that night classes at a school that prepares students for O level is still a better choice than study alone.. coz if u study in a group u will have more motivation and can discuss also..
Totally agree with you faith07.
Thing is, I can't just go into any school and study with them right? Also, can't find any tuition centers either..
do tys and also other school papers. to do well for Os, you cannot just do tys alone because the standard is too low. Also, you might want to form a study group with others who have failed their Os or As. together you can motivate one another. go for it!
P.S you can get a tuition teacher who has flexible timings during sessions so if you need to book in early one certain weeks, she/he will be ok with it. Maybe you wanna try ringing up one of those tuition agencies?
studying by yourself = very difficult and need some stong motivation
studying by private tutor = A lot of money
studying by private college = What people tend to do
studying with someone who's in your position = easiest to get motivated and study, hard to find someone else willing
it's hard to start studying by urself especially when u have friends already out, ahead of you, going clubbing on sat nights...
i know someone who's 23.. he actually dropped out of school.. and he worked a little. then he decided to go back to school and study.. and now he's in first year uni with me : D im only 17 lol.
He says it's difficult.. especially when he doesnt know many people (his friends graduated already) , but it's something he wants to do.
