May I know why the value for acceleration due to gravity is the same as that for the gravitational field strength? SI unit for acceleration due to gravity is m/s2 while the latter is N/kg.
It is preferable if you guys could work it out in terms of statements and workings as I'd be able to comprehend it more easily. thanks.
N is the same as kg m /s^2 (from F=ma)
Thus,
N / kg = ( kg m /s^2 ) / kg = m / s^2
